As anyone who attended our Andrew Reed Online Lecture with Dr Keith Scholey in February will have learned, securing a sustainable future for humankind depends on rapid, far-reaching efforts to slow climate change and mitigate its harsh impacts.

This aim, however, does not just rely on the vital work being conducted by those who save forests or develop renewable resources but rather on all commercial, environmental, financial and governmental sectors coming together to work collaboratively to create a ‘Green Economy’. The growth of the ‘Green Economy’ means that sustainability is becoming of increasing importance across all sectors.

At our FutureCareers Seminar on 16th March, we will hear from experts about their roles, experience and the broad range of career opportunities within the environmental and sustainable development sector, examining the growth of opportunities from those responsible for defining policies, supporting legislation, providing the funding and advising on corporate change.
